The Roland Arts Index

The Roland Arts Index is a Maryland-based nonprofit dedicated to lifelong learning by exploring art, philosophy, and religion through conversation, shared looking, and interactiveness.

More about
us

We challenge the idea that education is limited to youth by engaging elderly and underprivileged communities in art history, philosophy, and religion through images, conversation, and interactive learning. We foster community, shared inquiry, and meaningful dialogue as we deepen our understanding

The Roland Arts Index exists because questions of meaning, belief, and beauty do not diminish with age or circumstance. Through art, philosophy, and religious thought, we create a space for people to think together, reflect deeply, and remain engaged in cultural and spiritual life throughout their lives.

This program is for the elderly, youth in community programs, underprivileged individuals, and students in under-resourced schools.
